Hello, my name is Linen! I am a 9-month-old, male, black kitty who was caught in a trap, neuter, and release (TNR) operation outside a Burger King in Mar-Mac, North Carolina. The TNR folks realized that my sister, Suede, and I were too friendly to go back to the outdoor life! (On my original paperwork, my first name was listed as Lil Smoky and my last name as Burger King, so I started my indoor life as Lil Smoky Burger King!) After bouncing around a few rescues, I ended up in Virginia with Purring Hearts VA. I am the kind of sweet-as-sugar feline that people describe as being more doglike than catlike. All I want is to crawl into people’s laps and purr – though, I wouldn’t mind a good play session with a wand toy every day! With my handsome gray coat and green eyes, I’m the complete package. I am very social and will need a dog or kitty friend (either is fine). I haven’t met children, but I bet I would adore them the same way I adore most people!
